FREEDOM-POS

FREEDOM-POS represents a new direction in the retail marketplace, delivering high levels of functionality, built-in multi-channel capability and co-operative integration with other systems in the enterprise.

FREEDOM-POS is functionally rich and flexible, allowing it to be used in a broad range of environments that range from food service (table service, quick service and bar service) to traditional merchandise checkout (grocery, general merchandise, specialty and pharmacy) through to more specialized implementations in the leisure industry (ticketing, line-busting, etc.). All of these formats can be supported from the same copy of FREEDOM-POS using configuration options, allowing support for environments that have mixed outlet types and allowing the cross-pollination of functions between outlets.

Highlighted Features:

Intuitive graphical user interface can be configured easily to meet the needs of the individual user organization.

Full food service function that supports table service, quick service, room service and bar service as well as a full host of kitchen print/display routing capabilities including hold-and-fire.

Rich set of loyalty functions including guest ID and information capture at the point-of-sale; package/meal plans; targeted promotions and discounts; and stored value account access.

Multi-channel ready; a single solution that can run in a traditional restaurant or store, in a mobile POS, in theme parks, in a kiosk or on an e-commerce system, allowing the organization to run a single system across all channels to market.

Sophisticated pricing engine that allows a variety of pricing methods as well as allows prices to vary by guest type. Prices can be set in advance and take effect at a prescribed date and time.

Full offline support allowing continued guest service in the case of network or server outage.

Secure and PCI-compliant; encryption of sensitive account data; configurable role-based security protects features and services from unauthorized use; monitoring and audit facilities allow analysis of store operations and cashier activities.

Highly configurable, enabling individual retail chains to configure the system to meet their needs without divergence from the base, or the need to invest in high cost and high risk custom developments.

Adaptable deployment; able to run in traditional “fat” client environments (such as a register), embedded within other 3rd party applications (such as a specialist kiosk) or in thin client environments (such as mobile devices or aging legacy registers) without changing the base architecture.
