Anglia Regional Cooperative Society's grocery and convenience stores, department chain and furniture outlets were operating as trading silos and weren't taking advantage of the efficiencies a wider group offered. The company looked to MATRA to deliver a single, consistent POS infrastructure that would support all of their stores, offer cross trading capability, re-use the old tills, and help them press ahead with their ambitious multi-channel strategy.
