Anglia Regional Cooperative Society's grocery and convenience stores, department chain and furniture outlets were operating as trading silos and weren't taking advantage of the efficiencies a wider group offered. The company looked to MATRA to deliver a single, consistent POS infrastructure that would support all of their stores, offer cross trading capability, re-use the old tills, and help them press ahead with their ambitious multi-channel strategy.

With 21 parks in the US, Canada and Mexico, Six Flags is the largest regional park operator in the world. The lack of consistency between the POS systems in the ticketing, food and merchandise areas of the parks was stifling progress on more aggressive initiatives and was become expensive to maintain alongside park growth. Six Flags selected FREEDOM to provide a single selling infrastructure in the park and allow consistent, real-time information across all outlets.

When their existing POS solution started to hold back plans for new initiatives, Woolworths selected MATRA's FREEDOM solution as a replacement. Deployed on schedule, FREEDOM has delivered a better than 10% transaction throughput improvement, allowed a reduction in the number of lanes throughout their stores, freed employees to work the shop floor and dramatically reduced training costs. On top of that, FREEDOM is now underpinning Woolworths' multi-channel sales and in-store efficiency strategies.

The management team of independent theme park Movie Park Germany initiated a major investment program that included the specification of a new IT environment, complete with ticketing and POS software. Crucial to improving the commercial performance of the venue, this software also needed to interface to Movie Park Germany's new ERP and HR systems.
